What do you think is the significance of the Aids quilts what are ur thoughts on it?

When I first saw the AIDS quilts, they didn’t have much of an impact on me. I was ten years old or younger and just…I mean, I felt bad for the people, but at the same time didn’t really even know what AIDS was. I also didn’t know that the man standing next to me at the viewing, my father, had AIDS.

Now that I’ve lost my father from this horrible disease, I think the AIDS quilts would be very moving.

The vast number of quilts shows how many families and individuals have been affected by this horrific affliction.

The fact that everyone who participated did shows a need for solidarity in this crisis.

Furthermore, the AIDS quilts are a means of spreading awareness about AIDS.
